Where do your used police vehicles come from? We
purchase the vehicles directly from city, county and state
government agencies from Maine to California. The majority
of our vehicles are from Texas.
Can I buy directly from these agencies also? Certainly.
We would recommend direct inspection of each vehicle as
auction descriptions almost never give a complete picture of
the vehicle. In most cases, you have to schedule an
appointment and you are only permitted
to start the vehicle. No test drive is permitted.
Please check below to see what we do prior to selling the
vehicle. We try and take all the guesswork and
uncertainty our of buying a used police interceptor.
Do you sell the used police vehicles to private
individuals? Yes, once the car has been sold to a police
agency and used as a police car and resold it is perfectly
ok for an individual to purchase the car.
Do you de-tune the vehicle? No we do not
de-tune the vehicles in any way, they are simply tuned up
and are left the way Ford or Chevrolet produced them.
What kind of guarantee or warranty do you give on
the vehicle? We guarantee the vehicle will be
exactly as described. Any down payment or deposit will be
refunded if we have misrepresented the vehicle in any way.
Do you deliver? Yes we deliver free of charge within
a 200 mile radius of Dallas, TX. if you would like to fly in
to pick up your recently purchased police vehicle, we will
pick you up at DFW Airport free of charge. We can also
recommend car transport companies which will deliver
your vehicle to your door. Delivery varies in price
depending on how far you are from Dallas, Texas.
What do we do to the cars? We recondition the vehicle inside
and out, mechanically and cosmetically. We then drive the
cars extensively to make sure they are in top shape.

What you do to the vehicle prior to
sale? This is what sets us apart from other companies
that buy at auction and immediately resell the vehicle. We
have seen these vehicles being offered that have not even
been vacuumed or washed! Of course, the seller has
NO IDEA about the condition of the car!
-
Our first step is to
thoroughly clean the vehicle inside and out and visually
inspect overall condition.
-
Our second step is the
mechanical/maintenance phase. Our mechanics follow
a detailed work order.
The oil and oil filter are changed.
The air cleaner is replaced.
All fluid levels are checked.
Serpentine belt is inspected and replaced if needed.
Tires are inspected and replaced if needed.
Tires are balanced.
The interior is inspected.
Brakes, shocks, springs, steering and exhaust system
inspected.
-
Our third step is critical
to preparing the car for sale. All cars receive an
Official Texas Vehicle Inspection. We then drive
the vehicles on a daily basis until we are satisfied
that they are in good condition. There is no
better way to determine the overall condition of the
vehicle until we actually drive it! We do
not want you to have any surprises on your trip home.
What does it mean when you say the
vehicle is refurbished? Some of our vehicle
descriptions include the designation "refurbished". In
addition to the three steps performed above, these used
police vehicles also undergo these procedures.

(Chevrolet) are tested and replaced if needed.
